Life
Before leaving Stonewall I decided that I wasn't yet college material so I decided to join my older brother in the Navy. When I went to the Navy recruiter thank God he was literally out to lunch, and so I went across the hall and joined the Air Force. I and we have been an Air Force family ever since. My first assignment was Istanbul, Turkey where I was A3C and my last was here at Langley AFB, VA retiring as a Chaplain, Lt Col, Reverend Doctor (DMin). ill have a brother, Virginia is the best. I am presently serving as a Chaplain to Heartland Home Health Care part time and as a pastor at the Holland Christian Church (UCC) part time. My wonderful wife has just retired as a chemistry teacher and loves retirement. After teaching her second love is music and she plays violin in the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra. Our oldest son lives in cold Western Michigan and our youngest is a teacher teaching Technology here in the area. So as the reader can see my life, my ministry and my military are all incorporated.
