His resume includes the titles Billboard #1 songwriter, producer, composer , engineer, sound designer, studio owner , pro tools operator, and independent record label president . Jay began his career as a musician and songwriter and after attending Boston’s prestige’s Berklee College Of Music in the 1980’s and getting a specialized degree in music production and engineering from Full Sail Center For The Recording Arts in 1990. After graduating in 1990, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as Recording Engineer and Music Producer. Jay’s time in LA allowed him to work in world class recording studios on many different types of projects, audio and sound design for film and television including Warner Brothers animated series Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and Batman, and records projects for Major Artists with Platinum Producers and Engineers including “ The Rippingtons “ Grammy nominated record “Curves Ahead’. The LA experience really helped to develop his talents as an accomplished sound designer, engineer and producer and to provide an impressive credit list to his resume. After returning to the Central Florida area in the early 1990’s, Jay was employed as a sound effects designer at Soundelux where he continued to build credits on feature films, television, theme park and video game audio projects.
