Jaylee's Story

1979 December right before the end of the first semester I was directed to Diana Mohrs office and upon arriving we discussed my credits and I was eligible for early graduation. Of course I didn't pass that up. LOL Some of my classmates said Why aren't you home already? Because I wasn't like typical students. My English teacher told others in the classroom that I was exceptional. True. But I hated oral book reports. LOL Instructor Laframboise Health. A few students were in class and Mary announced that she received a promotion. Rodney Dutchie had just walked in and heard her announcement. His tert reply was Big Deal. What Does That Do For Us? He needed that semester credit because he put it off the previous year. Some dormitory mates I remember --Donna Wesley vicky Crocker Claudina Stanley Doveta Rush Jane Penass Amy Cesspooch Debbie Tatsey Gail Fitzgerald Deanna Crutcher Reading class Tom Querta. Rodney & Russell Stormy Lois Jervais Clothilda Ponzo. Okay enough names. May 1980 received my graduation diploma. Woohoo! All graduates were lined up outside the gymnasium and I found my place. Darrell Sine was supposed to be two places before me but he was told that his name wasn't listed. So he threw off his gown and stomped away. All that travel for nothing. Some looked on surprised and asked Who's That???? I went on stage but had no tassel LOL I guess that makes me a graduate of all previous years too LOL someone did notice and said do you want this? It didn't occur to me at the time that YES I did need a tassel. Summer time--moved into a new house a day after graduation August 1980---Attended Haskell Indian Junior College majoring in Business Education. LOL. Didn't take college courses too seriously. I was only 18 and wanted to have fun LOL what did I know? 1983 Employed at J.R. Simplot food division east in Aberdeen ID. General laborer. Started out as a potato trimmer cutting out bruises from product on a simulating table. My first day and I got motion sickness lol. Who's going to expect to see potatoes bouncing around on a shaking table? 1986 Farming Laborer --Potato Sorter. Throwing rotten potatoes away back onto the ground LOL Why plant them anyway?LOLOh well. Since I get paid for it.Sometimes having to haul of humongous dirt clots, an occasional animal carcass, cinder blocks lol smoking weed when work becomes too slow and boring LOL This is mostly how I become a wage earner. As long as you worked somewhere you'd get hired. 1989 Took a training course at Idaho State University teaching hostess. skills Okay I was taught how to be nice to people who could be rude. Hmmm. Counter productive. lol. Toast? White? Wheat? Sourdough? Just plain bread. LOL Jelly? On...Expand for more

LOL Hostess thinking customer is asking for a kiss. LOL September:-December Bannock Regional Medical Center::-Cafeteria--:tray line assistant. Made gelatin jewels lol it's four pans of jello red green orange yellow cubed and put in cups. Created salad platters. Yeah yeah yeah had to cut up veggies and decorate a plate in appealing arrangements. borrrrrrinnnnng. lol. Arranged a bread tray. Gathered condiment packets. Wrapped up silverware in napkins. DID YOU FALL ASLEEP YET? LOL 1990 COSMETOLOGY. Decided to find out what the big deal of hairdressing was all about. 1st semester was all about what hair is made up of? And this matters because? The chemical properties of hair are Carbon Hydrogen Oxygen Nitrogen Sulphur. TAKE NOTE. LOL. The cosmetologists tools are Shears Mirror Rattail Comb Barbers Comb Perm rods clips perm paper rollers dadadada You receive a kit of all this stuff. I did the book work pretty good. But before second semester began I knew I was going to flop out on actually doing perms haircuts with real heads LOL I didn't go back. Mannequin heads were interesting though. There were various angles to haircutting 90° 45° 120° 0° these angles are relative to the scalp. Some hair have cuticle damage hence the split ends. 92-2000 traveled to different events and powwows.
