Jaymee's Story
Life
I work for UnitedHealth Group Insurance Company. I have been with this company for the last 17 years. I am a Sr. Training Specialist for them and enjoy this job greatly. I started in the Centerville, Ohio office, however I am now located in our St. Louis, Missouri office. I spend alot of time traveling for this job and I have had the opportunity to spend 3 months in Montego Bay, Jamiaca and I spent 6 weeks in Mumbai, India in early 2007. I went back to India and visited Delhi. I was able to visit the Taj Mahl. I previously was a Customer Service Manager for National Amusement theatres in Dayton and Cincinnati including opening the Kings Island Showcase Cinema. I was married briefly to my High School sweetheart. We have no children. I would love to hear from you....
School
The biggest crush I had was when I was about 15 or 16 on a guy named James. Later I dated my next big crush Keith. I thought the class "87" had many cute guys. Mrs. Ingram and Ms. Craig inspired me the most. I don't believe I would ever want to go through High School again, although I did have a great time at Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. Some of the memories I have is of my lip sync to Madonna's "Material Girl". One of the craziest memories I have is being called to the Principles office for the first time, because I along with some friends were racing my boyfriend and another guy to school and I pulled out in front of a teacher who I scared and she realized it was me. Oops. I will always remember Doug and how he used to tease me about burning...Expand for more
my church down. The happiest memory was when I graduated from High School and my family was there along with the people I considered my extended family (boyfriend's family). Everyone made me feel so special with a dozen red roses and many good wishes. I remember my Senior trip while I was attending M.C.J.V.S, which John a fellow W.C.H.S student went on too. We had a great time at the Smithsonian and running around Washington D.C. I still have those pictures. I have fond memories of working at the West Carrollton McDonald's with the Smith twins and many others.
College
I took some classes at Sinclair Community College. I do not really have any college memories. I have spent most of my time gaining experience with my job at UnitedHealthcare.
Workplace
While I was still in High School I started working as a part-time Medical Secretary at Southview Hospital. I then moved to a fulltime position at Dr. Speros Gabriel's office. After that I moved to Western Ohio Healthcare, which later became UnitedHealthcare as a claims processor. I then moved to Customer Service, where I held several postions. I quit for a time and took a job as a Customer Service Manager with National Amusement theatres, which during my time at Showcase Cinemas Cross Point worked with several W.C.H.S. graduates Angie, Christy, and Josh. I went back to UnitedHealth Group and then traded that job for a parttime job in Huntington, West Virginia working at the Herald Dispatch in Customer Service. I am now back at UnitedHealth Group as a Sr.Training Specialist.
