Jaymi's Story

Life Gosh, It still seems like yesterday that I walked the halls of Edgewater High! I now live in Knoxville, TN and am Director of a Corporate University. I've never gotten far away from education. However, my best friend and I do event decorating and planning on the side... My family is still in the Orlando area. My mom lives in Casselberry, dad and his wife live in Winter Garden. My brother, Jim-bo and his wife Joie and my nephew Noah live in East Orlando. The other children that I hold near and dear are my cousin, Terri Taylor's kids, Torie and Taylor. I'm lucky to have 5 of the best kids ever in my life: Torie, Taylor, Noah, Miranda and MiKaela. I spend weekends on a beautiful lake near Knoxville on a wonderful Houseboat or cruise around in the runabout. I workout and play in a sand volleyball league.. Haven't found "Mr. ...Expand for more
Right" although I've certainly tried enough times. Life is good...my motto, "Live, Laugh, Love" I hope everyone's life is as fulfilling as mine! Remembering back then... Mr. Sheehan inspired me most because he challenged us and encouraged us to think "outside" the box. He taught from an experiential perspective..he was way ahead of his time...I have his inscription in my yearbook memorized (yes, I do still have a memory!) "To a live one in a field of mushrooms"... I LOVED my high school years! My friends...Beth, Kris, Sue, Debbie M....I miss keeping in touch with them. College I took the let's see how many colleges and how long you can take route...I attended: Pikeville College (KY), University of KY, UCF, Valencia and finally got a B.A. in Communication Arts with a minor in Spanish from Rollins College...10 yrs after I started!
