Jayna's Story

Life After graduating from high school, I joined my parents in Pocatello, Idaho. I lived there for about 7 years and worked as a legal secretary. In 1984 I moved back to Salt Lake City and a year later got married to Allen Lofgran. In May 2001 we will be married 16 years. We have three children: Katie-15, Jacob-12 and Jennifer-8. September 9, 2007: Wow! It's been 6 years since I've updated this. I've now graduated from Salt Lake Community College in Paralegal Studies. I graduated with High Honors (3.97 GPA) and also received the Outstanding Student Award for Paralegal Studies for 2003. I am currently attending Kaplan University and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I should be done by the end of 2008. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. linois, Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione. It opened a branch in Salt Lake City in July 2006 and I was asked to join the two attorneys who were leaving to work for Brinks. It has been a good move. I'm still married to Allen Lofgran. We're at 22.5 years. My oldest daughter, Katie, is married and has an 18-month-old daughter who is absolutely darling and precocious. Katie is pregnant with her second child which is due in March 2008. My son, Jacob, just graduated from West Jordan High School and is currently attending Salt Lake Community College. He is planning on going on an LDS mission when he turns 19 next year. My youngest child, Jennifer, is attending Joel P Jensen Middle School. Jennifer is a beautiful young woman who, unlike her mother at her age, has a great sense of self worth and self esteem. Nothing gets in her way! I won't be attending the 30-year class reunion so I hope to read some comments on the event.
