supporting each other and our children while promoting patriotism. The Blue Star Mothers of American are non-partisan, non political organization. We do not support any political canidate, nor do we support any religious organizations.
A Blue Star Mother's star can tragically, turn to a Gold (Star), at the loss of one's soldier killed in the line of duty, active service or inactive service. Our mission is also to support the Gold Star Family, and let these families know that their loved one who died will never be forgotten. Please google gold star flag and blue star flag so that if you see one of these hanging in a window, this is a military family.
Our chapter's main fundraiser since chartered has been the Not Forgotten Bracelet, made out of parachute cord, and a BDU (battle dress uniform) button. These are made by hand, and you can see our miliary bracelet colors at our website bluestarmotherstriadnc org
