jayne's Story
Since the 35th class reunion, I have since moved to Surprise, AZ where I love it. I have lived down the street where I worked for the past 8 years and now today May 30, 2014, I am officially retired after 27 years with State service. I even rec'd a plaque from the Governor, my big boss and Clarence Carter my DES boss and another plaque from my district that I gave all 27 years of dedicated service too.... you talk about a degree it took me all these years to finally end a career that put food on my table and a ...Expand for more
roof over my head for such a long time... And I enjoyed almost every minute of it... I love helping people and that is what I have learned the most from working in a welfare office after I had been on food stamps and AHCCCS when my husband was too sick to work, and then he passed away in 1984 two years before I started with the state in 1986. If we ever have a 50th I sure want to be a part of the team again just let me know and I will be there.
Thank you all class of 1967 love to everybody.
