Jean's Story
Life
After graduation from Cleveland High School in 1959, I worked, got married in 1960, and had my twins (boy and girl) in 1962. My second daughter was born in 1973 and my third daughter in 1978. My oldest daughter has three children and my middle daughter has four children. which means I have seven grandchildren.
My husband died of a heart attack in 1991, which offered me the opportunity...Expand for more
to attend college. I received my Bachelor of Science Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Portland State University in 1995 and my Masters in Counseling in 2000.
I worked for a while after college, but am now retired. I moved in with my mom after my dad died in September 2006. Yes, I am still living in Portland. In fact, I am living in the same home I did when I was in high school.
