Jean's Story
My husband, Wilbur and I have been married for 39 years. My first marriage to Tom Neal, Grossmont High,class of 58, produced 3 sons. I now have 7 grandchildren. One is in a master's program and two are doing undergraduate work. Wilbur has 2 off-spring and 4 grandchildren. I was the oldest of 6 children, so we have lots of family to enjoy.
I started college at the age of 28.
Now have a Master's degree in Education. I taught school(social sciences)at Christian Unified and taught summer school at Christian Heritage College(now San Diego Christian College)during the 80's

Everything I like to do is sedentary!
Reading, computers, music and traveling in our motor-home. Ever so often I do enjoy gardening!
Now, my life revolves around our church. I sing in the choir and organize a women's Bible study.
Wilbur and I enjoy taking our motor-home and seeing the country. He fishes and I read and cook the fish.
We particularly enjoy the Sierra's and the beaches along the Pacific.
We have been lucky to have toured Europe a few times and China. Now, we find that flying those long hours is just too much for us.
Slowing down and taking time to, as they say, "Smell the Roses" is just fine for the most part. We do enjoy going out to dinner with friends and a good game of cards. Cantasta anyone?
