Jean's Story
Short update: My husband and I have made several trips back to Jamestown since attending his 50th reunion. We just got back from staying at Lake Chautauqua mid July. We spent time with many friends from Jamestown and spent a day at Niagara. It made us realize how much we missed beautiful WNY. God willing, we hope to spend a couple months a year in the place we will always consider home. In the meantime, our beautiful grandchildren fill our time with great fun.

Dave and I have lived in Texas since 1977. He works for a major chemical company,32 years, and I am in Admin/HR for a valves/fittings distributor for the last 18 years. We both love what we do and haven't thought about retiring yet. We have two wonderful sons, one in outside sales, the other a district manager. We couldn't be any luckier. They have blessed us with four beautiful grandchildren-2 girls, 2 boys. We love spending time with our sons, daughters-in-law,and grandkids.
We hope to get back to golfing this year. Time is a factor, but we enjoy it and hope to start going again. Our youngest son played in the Andy Pettit tournament this year and had a great time. Our older son decided to go back to school two years ago and is working towards his bachelors. He has full plate with that, family and work, but is doing a great job.

We enjoy long weekend trips around Texas, San Antonio, Canyon Lake and Georgetown. I have family in Texas on my dad's side of the family and we try to visit with them a couple of times a year.
We hope to get back to upstate New York one of these days in the fall as we both still miss that time of year in NY. Would love to get to reunion, but it seems we are always on vacation the week before or after the scheduled time of the renunion.
Last year we had a little more excitement than we wanted. We took the whole family on a ski trip to New Mexico and Dave fell and broke his femur first day on the slopes. He had emergency surgery in Taos and then we were flown on a medjet back to Houston. The surgeon he had was fantastic and did an excellent job. He is completely healed and back to normal. The kids still had a good time and Dave wanted everyone to continue with the spring break vacation as usual.
We are planning a trip to Arizona, Nevada and if we can fit it in, California this summer.
Well, enough about us. Would love to hear from any of you. I would love to know if anyone knows what happened to Janice( Hall) Venman. The last I heard, about 15 years ago was that she moved to Richmond, VA.
Will try to get some photos posted soon. If you are ever in the Houston area contact me through Classmates.
