Jean's Story
Life
Married for 16 years to Bill; have 2 kids Loran 15 and Andrew 13. Still like to party, just not as much, signs of getting older and spending most of my free time taking kids to their sporting events. Loran plays volleyball 9 months of the year and Andrew plays hockey and baseball. I get to play softball in the summer both coed and an old lady church league where you have to be over 30 to play - certainly meet that criteria.
School
Would not do high school itself over again. Never really had a teacher there that inspired me - but the counselor, Mrs. Pappas, discouraging...Expand for more
me from vo-tech and into college. Some of the best memories though is from Winter Carnival's; skipping school with Nancy Olds; weekend parties and the main lobby and the stuff that went on there.
Workplace
Best job I have ever had is the one I took as a fluke cause it sounded interesting in 1989 and have never had a different type of job since - adoption. I even started my own business 10 years ago and although it is stressful, I love working for myself and get what the rest of my family gets out of working for yourself. Starting this business is one of my proudest moments.
