Jean's Story

Life I went to graduate school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and am now a family nurse practitioner. Since 1996 I have lost both of my parents to cancer. My twin daughters are graduating from The University of Texas and Texas A&M University and will be going to graduate school to pursue doctorates. I work part-time in a cardiologist's office. My husband Jack, an allergist, is in a rock and roll band called Take 2. Their webite is take2band with the usual preceding and post symbols which I can't display here! They play classic rock and roll. They just opened for Tracy Bryd at the Cattle Baron's Gala in Longview. Life "update"...Expand for more
My daughter Sara got married in June and is working on her doctorate in pharmacy at UT Austin. Her husband John is completing a masters in mechanical engineering. My other daughter Kate, just go engaged this weekend, and is working on a Phd in School Psychology at UT also. All of the above is probably a surprise to people I knew in high school since I was an underachiever "hippie" type. I am happy that I turned my life around! I am looking for people I went to high school with, either at Westchester or Stratford. I am also searching for long lost friends from Bartlesville, Oklahoma who went to school with me at Hoover Elementary or Madison Junior High.
