Jeana's Story

Time for the 30-year reunion! I'm now on my fourth attempt to finish my bachelor's degree, and my fourth major: This time it's applied linguistics. I'm about a year away from done, going part time, if all my classes fall into place as I need them. About to celebrate 12 years in my house, and 11 years in my job (although, frankly, the job is getting tiresome; hence going back ...Expand for more
to school). I now have two dogs: I've had Beau, the beagle, for nine years, and Mabel, the Boston terrier, for about three and a half. She's TheBoss of us all. I volunteer at my local library branch on Saturday's to help out with Story Time. It's great fun, and I'm learning a lot about how children learn language from watching the kids and talking to the the librarians. Ciao!
