Jeanine (Jeanie)'s Story
I married in 1965, had first beautiful daughter, moved to California in 1967 and had two more beautiful daughters; moved back to Ohio in 1969 soon after the birth of my youngest child, then divorced in 1971. Remarried in 1972. Lost middle daughter to Reyes Syndrome due to chicken pox complications in 1975. She was only seven. Part of me died with her but I had to go on for my other two girls and my four step daughters. We were a very close family. Moved to Phoenix suburb in 78. I decided to go to college in '79 and got my accounting degree. I started my own accounting business and had my office in my home for several years. I love the desert. turned to AZ in 2010. My oldest daughter still lives in AZ. My youngest daughter and her family moved to Ohio shortly after I did. I am now retired from Motorola Human Resource Finance. I have six grandchildren. And I'm now a great grandma to Nikilas. Wow.....where did the years go??? I am now divorced. Does anything last forever anymore? But I'm doing well and enjoy my family. Would like to hear from old friends. My favorite things are reading mysteries, going to baseball games (especially the AZ D-Backs) and watching my grandchildren grow up. Although we've had some misfortunes in our lives, my family and I have been very fortunate overall. Life is good.
BASEBALL (AZ D-Backs, Cin Reds) is the greatest. So is Chevrolet, Apple pie (ala mode, of course) and the amazing OLYMPICS!!!!! :) Updated3/31/2012
