Jeanne's Story
Life
I'm married and living in the Kansas City, MO area. I have twins, Alex and Anika, born in 2002. No pets. I am a radiologic technologist, registered in multiple disciplines, but my main focus is CT Scans. The most exciting things I've done since graduating, is being a professional cheerleader in St. Louis and going to Australia in 1999. It was wonderful. If I could move there and find jobs for both myself and my husband, there would be no stopping us! Unfortunately, they have strict laws about people from outside the country working there. (bummer) I still keep in contact with Kathleen Tripp Gibbons from Long, Tony Williams from BMF, and Jennifer Lueg Wales from Forest Park. Workplace
I worked at a local sign company for several years while going to school at night. I recieved my degree in Radiology in 1994 and started working at St. Louis University Hospital in 1993 as a student. After graduation, they hired me and I remained there until 1998 (in Special Procedures/CT). I moved to the Kansas City area in 1998 with my husband, where I continued my full-time career until I became a mom of twins in 2002. I've been working part-time on the weekends ever since. I love being a full time mom, but it has it's unique challenges (potty training-one at a time is hard enough, but two...). I love my job(s) and my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
