Jeanne's Story

I went to nursing school in Milwaukee and graduated in 1965, the same year I married Neal. We divorced 10 years later after adopting two part black, part white children. I did some traveling when the kids were older. I went to New Zealand, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Peru. I also was part of a health care team in Haiti and Mexico. I worked in ...Expand for more
many different areas as a nurse but always came back to psychiatric nursing. My last 25 years of nursing were spent working with teenagers in inpatient settings. I retired to Pflugerville, Texas to be near my daughter and also for the sunny climate. I babysit my 2 year old grand daughter who is the joy of my life. Life is good and very, very busy!
