Jeanne Marie's Story
Life
Since graduating high school, I continued to date my then, boyfriend, Alex. We attended Suffolk Community for a year, then we moved to Texas for a few months and decided to come back to NY, at which point,I went into the work world for several years. I married Alex at 25 and had 2 children, Kyle and Zack, before I was 30. I stayed home to be with my kids until 2001. I now work full-time and I am quite happy with my life since H.S. I hope to keep in touch with old friends from school. I had a blast at the 20 year reunion. Check out my photo album under Reunions.
School
I attended St.James Elementary for Kindergarten, went on to Sts.Phillip and James Catholic school for 4 years. I switched back to St.James Elem for 5th grade. That was the year they moved the 5th and 6th grades up to Nesaquake Intermediate. I was there for 3 years and then graduated from Smithtown East in '84.
College

emed best for myself and my family if I stayed close to home. I chose to attend Suff.Comm.College in Selden, NY. I only attended for 1 yr, because I had an opportunity to live in Texas. Upon my return to NY I took night classes there in Accounting, but have not finished my degree yet. I hope to do that soon, now that my kids are getting older.
Workplace
After graduation from HS,I started a job at Fotomat. It was an easy job to do and get paid to study my college HW.I also worked for them in Texas. When I returned to NY,I worked for MHT Co.in the mortgage dept.for 2 years. I was given an opportunity to be trained as an asst.bookkeeper at Coral Diving Products in Bohemia. The Head Bookkeeper there asked me to come to Modern Fabrication in Yaphank a year later. I worked there for several years and then was called to work in the County for Child Support. Upon my return from Maternity leave I worked at the Social Services Dept. After my next child I stayed home until 2001. I now work for Eastport/South Manor School District in the Special Ed Dept.
