Jeanne's Story
Jeanne Geisler Crowe
I was in the class of '42 so you know my age. I have been a widow for 16 years, losing my dear husband
of 30 years. Tom was a Major General in the U.S. Army and we had many enjoyable times in the army.
I have lost all my dearest friends and now resort to playing Bridge at the Glenview Senior Center twice a
week. Also amuse myself playing Scrabble on the computer and with my daughter, Vicki, on her bi-monthly visits.
I have 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who call me GIGI .
I am fortunate to live in my 5 bedroom ranch house, but with...Expand for more
a caregiver who is wonderful and drives me
places very willingly.
Also I am in very good health in my old age.
My son, Michael, lives in Glenview and takes care of my finances and all business pertaining to this
household, so I am a very lucky person.
I attribute my ripe old age to a happy outlook on life, good sense of humor, and nightly Martini cocktail.
