Jeanne's Story
Life
Getting older (and better), kids are now grown men. We are very proud of them! Both are hard working. Our eldest, TJ, is a video editor in Washington DC and our youngest, Nick, is an environmental test specialist in Norfolk VA.
TJ and his wife adopted a newborn during the covid pandemic, we quarantined well and eventually saw our newest grandson and then on to see our other two grandchildren! Nick is a great dad to two very active kids, they keep him moving.
History
My last 26 years of work was at Law School Admission Council where, amongst other things, I did the graphic layout for the Law School Admission Test. The job also brought a fair amount of travel too. So, I am happy to say I have now been to every state for work or pleasure.
In 2007 broke my leg in 20 spots,
October 2010--hip replacement. And 2017-2018 surgery, chemo, radiation (stage 1B cancer)—3 years out so far good!
April 2021 the other hip was replaced. Totally bionic Jeanne!

e enjoyed the arts: photography, stained glass, graphic design, quilting, etc.

After marriage we moved to Utica, MI; then on to Madison, WI (LOVED it); then to Indianapolis, IN (tolerated it); and finally to Pennington, NJ (good place)...next move will be for retirement (probably closer to our grandchildren in Virginia)..
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to our sons, supplement our grandchildrens’ college funds, then spend the rest on a retirement home, travel, and charity.
We are committed to Anchor House (home for runaway/abused kids). The main fundraising is a 500-mile, one week, bicycle ride. The mountainous ride is challenging but so very worthwhile. Jeanne rode twice, Tom 15 times, and now we help with support: Jeanne on video and photography and Tom is support crew chief. The Anchor House Ride for Runaways is extremely important to us.
My best friends would tell you I'm crazy, People who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy.
