Jeannette's Story

Life After DHS, I went to Methodist College. Graduated 1970 (took 2 years off studies for illness in family). Married 1970, moved to Alamance Co.-(divorced him 1991)- taught with Alamance/Burlington Schools 32 years. Just retired in '02. Now live on 6 country acres, am happy and dating again. yearbook staff most of my high school years. My brother, Albert, was a fixture there until he graduated in 1961. I had outside interests - scouting, junior choir at church, piano lessons, volunteering at Watts Hospital, etc. I knew more about cars than most girls - from helping Albert work on his car in the back yard.
