Life After highschool I attended the U of S (briefly!) as many of you did in hopes of figuring out what I wanted to be when I grew up! However, it didn't take me long to decide that I didn't want to grow up at all! So I took a job as a nanny, and thoroughly enjoyed that for several years. I eventually went back to school to take Dental Assisting, and immediately moved west to Calgary to find a career and love...if it should strike! And it did indeed! I eventually hooked up with a cowboy (Pro Rodeo Steer Wrestler) and we bought a 1/4 section (160 acres)of land in the foothills of southern Alberta, about 10km south of High River. It is a beautiful piece of land with an amazing view of the mountains. We farm alfalfa hay for cattle feed, which is a risky business these days with the whole mad cow crisis going on. So back your beef and keep us in business! We hope to expand our operation to include breeding rodeo stock as well. So I guess you could call me a farmer!
