Jeannette's Story
Was married; widowed; 2 adult children; 3 grown and loving step-children; 4 grandchildren. Supreme Court Judicial Secretary 20 years; live common law 28 years; retired. Was Swim Instructor; Girl Guide Leader; Lifeguard. Still love swimming; swam a mile 5 days weekly for 20 years, now reduced to half a kilometre once weekly. Love word and trivia games. Injured at work; now use a walker;now involved in a drug study for almost 4 years. Go to lunch weekly with 4-6 ladies I retired with 11 years ago. Just updated my late hu...Expand for more
sband's and my own Family Trees for the third time; first time in 1966, wrote out the info by handthen manually typed, this time also used the internet. New edition is 100 pages long and goes back to the 1700s. Belong to a Govt. Retirees Association, wrote their Newsletter for 5 years until my fingers no longer did what I asked of them. Present husband not well so, out of desperation took up Bingo. We had to put our motor home up for sale this summer which broke our hearts. We spent many years travelling and "camping."
