Jeannie's Story
Life
I graduated from the University of St. Francis with a BA in Psychology and minor in Religious Studies in May 2003; I am returning to obtain my Masters in Education for School Counseling this fall at USF and plan to be a guidance counselor in a parochial school.
So far, my experience in the business world has varied. I've worked in finances for years and also done administrative work for churches and CEOs of various companies. I was also a youth minister and still volunteer with certain youth activities and organizations in the diocese occasionally.
I have 3 pets--a dog, cat, and turtle. I still live at home, as I am not yet engaged or married! Most of my friends are already married, though. I do have a serious relationship with a Bishop Luers alumnus; h...Expand for more
e works at Parker Hannifin in New Haven and has an apartment and kitten.
I still live in Fort Wayne but have traveled across the country and a little bit out of the country; I plan on going to Europe with my Godfather next year to Belgium, France, and possibly Italy.
I would say that, for those of you who knew me in high school, I am still very much the same old "Jeannie," but I have also experienced more and matured through hardships and heartbreak (my ex-boyfriend-near-fiancee cheated on me while he was in the Marines). I am still gullible and trust people too easily, but I have grown a backbone in many ways. My personality and character is truly ministerial, pastoral, and in the counseling/guiding/healing professions. I truly love working with and for others...
