Jeannie W Kulia's Story
If you went to St Stephen's with me, you might remember me as one of the "odd" and quiet one. If you knew me at Stamford, then I was one of the nerdy one in Mr Krishnan's Constitution class who enjoyed sitting upstair at the Court house, dreaming to become a Esq someday.
I didn't make it to law school. I went to Hawaii. No I was not in TIM school either. With some twists and turns, I studied textile and was fortunate to spend my final college year in the one-year exchange program at FIT in New York. I have been working on and off in the Garment business for over 25 years.
I have been living in the US since 1981. I was married to a photographer. We since divorced, but we reminded close friends. I moved from the west to the east, from north to the south. New York has a special place in my h...Expand for more
eart, while a piece of my soul is left in Hawai'i. I still hear the Island calling and am working towards returning to my home state some day.
For now, Minneapolis is home. Why Minneapolis? Here is my standard answer: I came here for love (followed my then husband), now I am staying for the money (my job).
Life has been good to me, I had the opportunity to travel around the world for my job. With my current position, my travel schedule is confined to the 48 states, mainly New York, Chicago and Vegas.
Though the years I made many friends and established quiet a few connections around the world, both business and personal. As I get older, I think it is important to reconnect with those who made an impression in my life. I would love to hear from you. Let's catch up!
