Jeannie Tarantola's Story

I'm coming across some names that seem so familiar.. but I just can't recall .. a few I do remember for sure.. and I look at your pictures (and by the way everybody looks pretty darn young I must say) and I can only see those young girls and you know the mature faces it's so crazy.. Well Kids looks looks like we are Switching to Glide ... Now I understand is that song was about at the core. I think that was the Knack but 'm not sure. I still can't grasp I turned sixty in March .. And I'm getting ready to do the paperwork for my widows benefits from social security.. .That u can receive at 60 from ur deceased husband's benefits.. I became a widow in 2012 . That's when I lost my husband to suicide. He wasn't from the south city area and we didn't meet till I was like 41 and he was 51. He was a really good guy. He was my favorite husband ....out of them all ...lol..,( I had 5) . But never had any kids .. I was too much of a party girl.. nor did I think I would have been a very responsible parent . Realizing that was the truth, I chose not to bring a life into this world . I knew I wasn't prepared to care for a child.; I grew up in a very dysfunctional and abusive home , I wasn't stable mentally at all .I dwas acid I would as a very least inflict severe emotional damage on somebody who didn't ask to be ... else's life up. givable fraction of........ ..... Improper start from a stop position ... That's when I would peel out from every stop sign or stop light.; Because I had to make my tires squeal lol.. In my beautiful Candy Apple Red 1970 Camero. I did love did love those old muscle cars ......,and still do.... If anyone remembers me please leave a note. I'm feeling a little nostalgic and would love to reminisce ; I just need a few prompts aka reminders of that magical time . Because .."yah know" I can't remember s*** anymore. Looking forward to hearing everyone's memories and life stories ....from our glorious and beautiful misspent youth.... 🙃😁😏 I like many many other students dropped out on HS due to that almost year long teachers strike. My first love ... John Logan .... He was a senior in 78 and I was freshman. During the teacher strike all those senior boys that were in his/our little hotrod car guys group group; all went and got their geds ..I remember they for a bit pissed because they were supposed to graduate they had really plan on it several of them. I was only 14. As much as I already hated school from being in primary School I just couldn't see going to school for the entire summer or whatever because ...you know I was 14 and I didn't wana lol. I was too young to my GED .... So I worked a couple years at Netties flower Garden before I obtained that piece of paper . Later on I got a scholarship to slu ..and studied geriatric psychology and aging in America... Dam now I qualify for that study.,lol.
