Rosemary's Story
Life
I was trying to update my "story" and in reading it, I realized that not a lot has changed. Updated numbers - lol. I am not in contact much with anyone on Classmates, more so through Facebook as I guess most of us are. I do talk with a couple of classmates from time to time but our lives seem to be so busy that I rely on Facebook. If we have not touched base, and you wish to do so, send me a friend request. As I said earlier, most of the info below is the same so I just updated the numbers a bit.
Well, it has now been almost six years since my husband passed away and all the changes took place with my business. The move out to White Hall was a good one for the store and things have been going OK for us. Music Warehouse celebrated a 23 year anniversary in January of 2015 which just blows my mind - where on earth does time go? While I am usually at the store every day, I don't punch the clock anym...Expand for more
ore. I get here when I get here and leave when I want most of the time and I have to admit that makes things much easier. I don't guess I will ever retire completely; I am not at all sure what I would do with the extra time.
The grandkids are growing up way too fast. William is 26 now, Taz is almost 21 and Alexa will be 19 next month. I had warned my daughter that paybacks would be rough and sure enough, she has found that out. Somewhere in there is a wee bit of "told you so".
I am still on Lake Catherine and would not trade it for the world. It is so nice to come home and sit out of the deck and watch the boats go by. Helps with the retention of any bit of sanity I have left. I am on Facebook (Rose Wilson in Hot Springs) as is the store (Music Warehouse, Inc). I have caught up with some classmates which is nice - if you are not one of them, send a request. It would be great to hear from you.
