Jeff's Story
Life
after PHS went to Montclair State and majored in music. Taught music for 5 years and married Susan Brodsky (PHS 1966) in 1970. Traveled the world and moved to Colorado Springs in 1974. Have taught severe/profound needs ever since. Now retired from teaching and teach Karate in town and at the U. S. Air Force Academy.
We have two kids. Mike 28 is a sales manager for an auto dealership. He and his wife Tasya have 3 girls. Hailey is 4 1/2, Kennedy is 2 and Gracie is 6 mos.. I have pursued my passion of Karate for the last 39 years and as of May 31, 2009 and an 8th degree black belt and the U. S. director for the Okinawa Shorin Ryu Matsumura Seito Karate and Kobudo Federation. Still teaching karate everyday and love it.
In September Sue and I picked up our instruments again and joined New Horizons band. What a great time we're having. I recently auditioned for the NHB Jazz band and now will be playing in the Concert Band and Jazz band. It's so much fun to be playing again.
Recently I started a Brass Quintet and we're coming along very well.
