Jeff's Story
To avoid negative PR, Principal Plum let me finish out my senior year then had me arrested for setting off the cherry bomb in the gym (during my speech for SCA president) and I spent the next several years in a secret prison in Guantanamo Bay.
Later, I went to UVA then to VT for grad school (a rare Hookie). To survive in grad school, I got a job pulling cable in the steam tunnels at VT and they've never let me out. I work at VT and live in a modest house on a high ridge here in SW Virginia.
I married Lori Heishman (Central Class of 81) from the Fort who also went to UVA. We met in the exercise yard at Gua...Expand for more

We have 2 children. Our son Dan is a freshman this year (fall 08) at VT where he plays Tuba doing the Hokie Pokie at the third quarter in front of 70,000 maniacs. Our daughter Sarah is a high school distance runner who recently went to the state championship in XC.
I'm older now than my parents were when I got out of prison and got married. If you're reading this, you probably are too. So we should get together and have a drink or ten and talk about the old days. But don't ask me about Guantanamo ... it's hard to recall ...
