Jeff's Story

I had enough credits to leave school in January, so got hired on a fishing boat. Summer of '74 left the boat and worked in a copper mine in Arizona. Then attended U of W. Got accepted to University of Bolivia Medical School. Had an interest in intestinal tracts, so ended up Berlin University of Thoracic Tecnics with Proctological Fellowship. Spent several years in 3rd and 4th world countries practicing. Few years ago was bicycling in Mexico when I got sideswiped by a watermelon truck. Spent months recovering, lost my left leg and left arm is still attached, but useless. Decided to open clinic/bar in Mexico where peglegged one armed proctologists are fairly common. there is a great bay and lots of fisherman, sailboaters and others who are thirsty and need my help one way or the other. If you get south of the border, come on down to Altata. I'm easy to find - just ask for Lefty's on the beach. Two people from Ingraham have made it down so far - Jim Hayden and Larry Baumgartner. Imagine my surprise when I was rolling out of the clinic and bumped into Larry. He still looks the same. Thirsty as ever. He was looking for a good place to play his guitar. Whew, that was a night. Or was it 6? And Hayden came down looking for a place to make a new development. Looks like it's going to happen. He says Mexico real estate is "en fuego". Ok, I'll be there. Adios.
