Jeff's Story
Life
Suzanne and I married in December 2003 while in Puerto Rico! Beautiful place for a vacation! We now live in Fort Mill, SC and moved into our beautiful new home April 2005. I spent 8 years Active Duty in the United States Marine Corps and have finished a 21-year military career with the South Carolina Air National Guard, Home of the Fighting Falcon F-16. Yes, I have retired! Well, sort of....
After eight years with Carolinas Associated General Contractors, I decided to start my own business - Hanson Safety Services, LLC and have been running ever since. Business is very good and self employment motivates you to wake up every morning...(i.e. no work....no pay!).
Trevor's brother Tyler Jackson was born Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Trevor is a wonderful little fellow and we really enjoying the time shared with him. Tyler, well he is two days old, and is learning the art of eating. An exciting time for the Hanson's. The rest of the Hanson family is also living in the South! Update 4/27/2013 - Well things change as life moves along. I sold Hanson Safety, in total, January 2013 and now am Vice President HSE & Risk for United Infrastructure Group, Inc., Great Falls, SC. The boys are growing and very active. Trevor, now 8, is playing travel baseball for the X1 Twins and if all goes well through Summer 2013, he will receive his 1st Degree Black Belt in Septemeber. Tyler, now 6, enjoys playing soccer and is near genius when it comes to electronic devices. Of course the kid was born with an iPhone in his crib....well, nearly so!
Suzanne is a wonderful Mother and works extremely hard keeping the family moving in the right direction. Now that there's no Hanson Safety, she stays home and enjoys quality time with the boys. Man, do I envy that sometimes! We're still enjoying Fort Mill, SC and its proximity to Charlotte, NC - Columbia, SC and Atlanta, GA. We are very centrally located and can be at the beach or in the mountains in just 2-3 hours.
