Life 07SEP2021: I have been a Climate Change Policy Consultant on environmental issues in recent years. On 04 FEB 2011, I retired as a U.S. Intelligence Community contractor after 26 years working for five separate companies. On 24 NOV 2008, I retired as a Captain (O-6) in U.S. Navy intelligence after 37 1/2 years of Naval service. My Navy Reserve duty has taken me to London, United Kingdom five times. I retired on 01 DEC 2004 from Lockheed Martin Corporation/Integrated Systems and Solutions of Fairfax, Virginia after 9 1/3 years with this company. Master's degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. 1991. Bachelor's degrees in Journalism from the University of Oregon, Eugene 1980 and Political Science from the University of Iowa, Iowa City 1978. Married to Stephanie Manzi Johnson for 39 years on 27 AUG 2021. My family includes two step-children, Anne and Tom; their respective spouses, Randy and Elizabeth (Beth); and five step-grandchildren: Nicholas, Amanda, Christopher, Alison and Erica. One of the greatest joys of our lives is our dog, "Emmy", a lovable female Terrier who is 6 1/2 years old. Throughout our married life we have both been committed to uncovering the unconscious thoughts and childhood decisions which keep us stuck in conversations that are counterproductive to a joyful, loving life as individuals and collectively as a couple. Communication is the life-blood of relationships. We both enjoy vacations primarily to the ocean and beaches. Both my spouse and I are participating members of the Church of the Master Angels (CMA) in Boone, North Carolina. For the last 13 years we have been supporting the spiritual healing work of Master John Douglas, a medical intuitive healer from Sydney, Australia.
