Jeff's Story

Life See School Bio... School Well, I moved on from high school to an economics degree at York which finished just before they actually built the place up. I tacked on an accounting degree then suffered through the Bob Rae years and assorted accounting and IT work before banging my head and realizing that my calling always was in investment management and that's where I've stayed ever since. Okay, except the new millenium hit and those work commutes in Toronto were already getting to be a nightmare. As luck would have it, I hooked up and married a Montreal broad and high-tailed it to the land of the other solitude where I've now spent five years enduring the phrase "You moved here? It's supposed to be the other way" app...Expand for more
roximately 3,635 times. Anyway, I run my own investment counselling business and do some blog-writing work (more for entertainment value). I'm also re-learning French from scratch now that 10 years of French courses in Ontario are useful in Paris but don't amount to squat in Quebec. Seriously though, I live right in the city and Montreal is a great place to live as long you have good shock absorbers for the potholes and make sure you never stop the car under an overpass. And, of course, I have two male offspring - Hunter, born in 2002 and Cooper in February 2007. Hopefully, the understanding that their father went to the same high school as Ed the Sock and their mother with Steven Cojocaru won't put them in therapy....[grin]
