Jack's Story
Life
After graduating MVA, attended CUC for 4 years, graduating in 1967. Started teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools (3 1/2 years there, last 2 as elementary school Principal) and then transferred to Montgomery County Public Schools, Md.After working in Md. and commuting from Va. for 6 years I finally moved to Md. to live (also at the time of first divorce).Worked there 29 years (teacher, department chair and the last 15 as middle/high school principal). Retired from MCPS in 2000 and returned to Loudoun County Public Schools as principal of an alternative middle/high school where I con't. to work. I continue to live in Md. just outside Washington, D.C.
Married 3 times (each of first two for ten years and currently for 12 ...Expand for more
years and still going). Three children from second marriage (one girl and two boys, 21, 23 and 25 years old in 2004)_and two from current marriage(boys who are 10 and 12 years old in 2004). Mildly active in local community coaching my sons baseball teams, served year as PTA president, past member of a local nonprofit foundation's Board of Directors.
Spend much time with immediate and extended family (both Elissa and I each have a brother and sister and other relatives in the area). We have a place at the beach and spend extended weekends there most of the summer after the boys sports activities are over. My wife Elissa is also a teacher, but as a staff trainer does work part of the summer months.I am enjoying family and my life.
