Jeff's Story
Life
After high school, attended SIU Carbondale for a year, got pushed out a 17th floor window (long story)...suffice to say it sucked. Transfered to Iowa and loved it. Spend 1st semester living in a study lounge with 20 other "temp hosusing" victims. Changed major from Geology to Liberal Arts w/ Minor in Business. Graduated and went into real estate. Worked three years in Chicago real estate then became a computer consultant for a few years. Went back to Iowa for an MBA in 92. Worked in Czech Republic and Slovakia as a consultant. ed back to Chicago as a computer consultant. Met my future wife on AOL (long story). Returned to Iowa for 5 years as an IT and Marketing Director. Had daughter #1 in Cedar Rapids. Returned to Chicago (Wheaton) in 2001 as a marketing director and technology consultant. Had daughter #2. Got sick of consulting. Now working as IS Director for publicly held heathcare products company (Patterson Medical) in Bolingbrook. Currently serving as President of the Iowa MBA Alumni Network.
