Jeff's Story
Life
Jeff is an Estate Planning Specialist with extensive experience and training in the financial services industry including retirement, tax and estate planning.
Jeff received his MBA from York in 1982 and was an executive and producer in the film and television industry during the 1980s. In 1990 he transitioned to financial services enrolling in the chartered accounting program at McGill. From 1993 to1998 Jeff built a financial planning and insurance practice in Montreal working with executives and business owners in the entertainment and high tech industries while earning his Chartered Life Underwriter and Financial Planner designations.

lusively with high net-worth clients and received the titles of Certified Financial Planner, Registered Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Consultant.
Jeff joined Merrill Lynch, now CIBC Wood Gundy, in 2001 and works with Investment Advisors and their clients in the BCE Place offices in downtown Toronto. His specialties include: family wealth transfer, tax, retirement and estate planning, as well as business continuation and succession planning. He is a member of numerous financial planning and insurance associations. He is also on the editorial board of The Canadian Journal of Financial Planning. Most recently he received the title Trust and Estate Practitioner.
Jeff is married with two children and lives in North Toronto.
