Jeff's Story

Life After I-Hi, attended WSU. Bachelor's degree in animal science in 1974. Left for India in June of that year for two years in the Peace Corps. Arrived back in US in July 1976. Farmed in Cowlitz County for several years. Got married in 1982. No kids. Went to work at the Toutle River Boys' Ranch in 1987 as a counselor. Got a job in Spokane as a counselor at another group home in 1988. Left that job to work...Expand for more
in a mental health clinic in 1992. Got a Master's degree in counseling from Whitworth College in 1996 and started a private mental health practice with a psychologist in 1997. I recently (November 2014) retired as a senior research associate at WSU in Spokane. My wife, Marjie, is disabled with MS, and is now bedridden. Love to be outdoors--gardening, camping, fishing--and playing on my amateur radio station.
