Jeffery's Story

I remember very vividly hundreds of memories at school. All the years after I left school were full of opportunities, some of which were snatched from my reach. So I took aim and tried again. I've learned a lot about living in the last ten years. I learned a lot about life in all the years God has seen fit to grant me. I don't see myself as a wise man but I've certainly been acquainted with the way the world operates. At one time I could see decades into the future. I was blind to some things. I'm sorry more classmates have made little attempt to touch base. I foresee the distinct possibility of living out my remaining days overseas. But I'll always be within reach. I apologize for misspelling my name for most of my life. As for my health, I've decided to trust God. Doctors aren't perfect. God's grace is always sufficient. You all have my prayers for God's redeeming grace and joy but most of all a heart filled with God's love. I pray that God will heal my children and their children, and most of all my ex-wife. A man can pray and believe. Only God is sovereign. In spite of whatever you may have experienced in life, God never left your side. His mercies are renewed each day. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. What may appear to be a failure could be just a new beginning. As long as you have breath, sing praises to the Lord for all He has done and is doing even now. Put on a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness. rship to Christ Jesus Our Lord and Savior, for He is worthy. This isn't just a period of time we set aside and devote to Him. This is like breathing. We can't live without breathing worship in and out, that gives us life, cleanses our body, mind, and spirit, Filling our heart to overflowing and in doing so we become a wellspring of living water that spills on to everyone and everything we come into contact with. I should know. I've been there. It isn't a place on a map. You must look within your heart, and let the light of God's Word illuminate your entire being. You must open all the windows and doors and let the Spirit of God flow freely through your entire being, transforming you into the very image of God's only begotten Son. One day after all of life is past, Jesus will present us to Our Father with Great Joy. That is where my eye is fixed upon. May the Lord be gracious unto you. Our story isn't nearly as important here and now as is the story of Our Father, Our Savior, and the Holy Spirit that binds us all together. So you want to tell a story? There is the Greatest Story Ever Told. (I don't mean to sound trite.) I loved many of my classmates much more than I realized. I send out a special mention to Daniel Finney... I miss you. I do notice who is visiting my profile. I know posting stuff online is risky business, but if we aren't brave enough to contact each other, why are we here? I keep getting messages that I have had visits. I keep checking. It is all good. Don't be afraid to say "Hi." It really isn't that risky. I make no assumptions about anyone.
