Life Well, I came to NW Arkansas to work for Wal-Mart on a 3 year plan, see where my college friends settled, put the name on my resume and figured I would get out of Dodge or in this case Bentonville. 8 years later and I am still living in the 6th fastest growing area of the country -- nearly 1000 people per month are moving to the area, and there are finally signs of civilization. We are getting a minor league baseball team in April, Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs have opened or will be opening, and all this with a 3 mile round trip commute to work each day. I am the senior lead in Logisics Planning and Strategy for the entire Wal-Mart empire -- supporting the 4000+ stores in the US, and the 3000+ International locations - including places like Japan, UK, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Brazil, China and soon to be India and most likely Russia. I spent several months in Japan, Mexico and Germany through my time in the International division, and I have had a hand in placing over 50 DCs worldwide topping over $4 Billion in capital expedenditure.
