First and at the least I am a retired veteran who seved my country in the services. I left home at age 18 to see the country side in the Arizona mountains in fact in a little place called Seara Vist just accross the boarder from Nogalaz texas. While in arizona of course I went up to FlagStaf and saw the grand canon, also visited the Bisbee coper mines and spent some time in Phonix with friends and family of course while there I saw the studios that had much to do with making westeren films it was fun it was called old Tuson and as you might think quite and experiense for a easterner.. I returned to Altoona but just for a short time ya see I just did not seem to be able to reach that dream of doing somthing very important in my life and that was when I enlisted into the services with a guarenteed GI bill in which I would recieve a minimum of 4 years colledge tuition and I used part of that to the University in Iowa in fact Iowa State University where I studied and had started out to become a vetrinarian after two years and some I had a offer with the United States Postal Services to go to work in the electronis field which was what I had done for so many years that it sounded intruging to me to be able to travel with the post office and train in the repair and overhaul maintence I also was part of a team that would go uot and move these equipment to a new site then bring them back to standered required runing after putting them back together it was fvery interesting and I will say I just loved the work and all the coworkers they were my post family and they where all great... I married in 1983 and divorced in 1999 after a long but wonderful marriage which like all good thing cam to and end. While in Iowa I purchased a farm of 160 acres...Expand for more
