Jeffrey's Story
Hi, It's been a long journey after high school. I graduated in 1985 from Arizona State with a BS Computer Science with a 4-year Army ROTC Scholarship. I spent over 22 years in the Army Medical Service Corps as an Information Management Officer and later as a Chief Information Officer with assignments at Fort Sam Houston San Antonio, TX, Stuttgart, Germany, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Carson, CO and Fort Gordon, GA (where I retired in April 2007) I have 2 combat tours to Southwest Asia, Desert Shield, Storm, and Saber from Nov 1990 - May 1991 and Operation Iraqi Freedom from Mar 2003-Oct 2003. In 1992, I helped support humanitarian operations at Homestead AFB after Hurricane Andrew destroyed everything there. I was married in Dec 1987 in San Antonio and have been married to Brenda ever since. We have two great kids, a boy Jeff Jr. born in 1990 and a girl Krista born in 1992. ology since May 2007. I started out at Fort Gordon deploying digital radiology and teleradiology throughout the Southeastern US. I am now working at Fort Lewis, WA south of Tacoma with the Dept of Defense Center of Excellence National Center for Telehealth and Technology as Program Manager, Advanced Technologies. I have been in WA since Oct 2008. I am more of a consultant now than anything providing the different services with technical solutions for providing telehealth capabilities for their patients. Our primary focus is on soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Tele-Psychological Health is my niche area.
