Jeffrey's Story
When I graduated I enlisted in the army ,went to Vietnam, came back went to college on the G.I. bill, graduated and started a clothing business. I stayed with that for thirteen years and became disillusioned . My dad told me about emergency medical services and I became interested. I applied to the Los Angeles county department of health for a position of paramedic. I was accepted and put through their school for paramedics. I worked for the county for nine years, however my wife was becoming tired of Los Angeles, me too for that matter(sunny and mild...Expand for more
everyday, sounds good doesn't it but let me tell you it gets old fast. Sunny and mild for Christmas, sunny and mild for Easter,sunny and mild for Halloween, get the picture?) Well we ended up moving back to New York I got on with the New York City Fire Department and I've since retired from there and now work at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan.My wife and I have six children,two grandchildren and this August 17 we will celebrate our thirtieth anniversary.
