Jeffrey's Story
Since getting the freak outta Tioga Center I spent 1991 - 96 at Albany College of Pharmacy, where I graduated with a BS Pharm Degree. I played soccer for 4 years on the college level and met some true and long lasting friends. After ACP I went to work for CVS/pharmacy, which has been my employer since. I have held many different positions with CVS thru the years. I started as a Pharmacy Intern, then a staff pharmacist in the Albany NY area. In 1998-99 I worked out of our corporate office in Rhode Island, but I spent most of the time traveling to different parts of the country as a trainer for our new automation and workflow systems. After leaving that project I returned to Albany as a Pharmacy Manager at a high volume location in Latham NY. I spent 5 years as RxSup in 3 districts, first being Wilkes-Barre, second was Scranton, PA and the Southern Finger Lakes (including the store in Owego, ironic since I couldn't wait to get out of there!) and finally returning to Albany in 2006. In 2007 I got smart and stepped out of the management role and back to being a pharmacist in a store 1 mile from my house in Glenmont, NY.
In 1998 I also met (thru work) Jennifer who would become my wife in 2002. We had our first son, Daniel, in 2004 and numbers 2 and 3, Jason and Logan, in 2006. Number 4 (Name TBD) is coming march of 2009.
I have been blessed to have traveled extensively (mostly on the company dime) and to have a wonder wife and great friends. I've lost too many friends to sensless tragedies in the past 8 years and miss them all a great deal. Remember... Life is too short to drink cheap wine!
