Jeffrey's Story
Life
Married with 1 boy who we adopted in December 2003 from the Ukraine. We have 2 dogs. I still play several sports competitively, including playing in local adult ice hockey leagues, and am a member of the Philadelphia-Whitemarsh Rugby Club.
School
I played ice hockey and rugby while at MN.
College
I graduated from West Chester State in 1980 with a business management degree, and played on the ice hockey and rugby teams while there.
Workplace
After graduating from West Chester State in 1980, I spent 15 years in the furniture industry. 5 with my family's company (Noel Schmidt Furniture Co., & Choice Seating Furniture Galle...Expand for more
ries), and 10 as a sales rep. for Norwalk Furniture Corp. This led me to Pittsburgh for 7 years and down south to Pensacola and Atlanta for 3 years. Too much traveling, so in 1994, I joined the insurance agency that a friend of mine owned, and opened a Philly office specializing in providing commercial insurance for transportation companies(primarily truck, bus, limousine, ambulance, and taxi co.'s). I moved out to the main office in Pittsburgh in 2001, and now as vice president of the agency, have moved back again (June/05) to this area. Hopefully this will be the last move. I'm living in Douglassville, which is slightly west of Pottstown.
