My, how the years have slipped by! Time for a long overdue update of my story. I have now been married again for 11 years. My wife and I have been fortunate to be able to travel and enjoy some wonderful vacations, at least until just before the pandemic started. Unfortunately, just prior to the beginning of the pandemic, I experienced some health issues that resulted in an earlier retirement than we had planned. I worked in healthcare, in the field of Respiatory Care, for 42 years. I worked primarily in critical care settings. I worked at St Bernardine Hospital for 17 years and also worked as a clinical instructor for the Respiratory Care programs at Victor Valley College and Crafton Hills College. In the mid 90s, we moved to Oregon and spent the better part of 10 years there. I worked in several hospitals before finally settling in a position at Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville. We lived at the coast in Lincoln City for a year then in McMinnville for several years. ...Expand for more
