Jene's Story
Graduated from Otterbein College in 1968 with BA. I earned my MA from Ohio State I n 1971 and did doctoral studies at Indiana. ITaught in Columbus City Schools at Linden McKinley HD from 1968-78. Was assistant basketball coach at Linden and Capital University, then became head coach at Linden. Won 2 State Championships, appearing in 3 Final 4s in 4 yrs. ght for 4 yrs. Won: 2 Big 10 Championships, NIT and NCAA Championships. Then became head coach at Furman University in Greenville SC. Moved back to Westerville in 1985 and became a Realtor for 10 years. I then went back into coaching as an assistant at Ohio State for 2 years. In 1997 I returned to real estate which I still practice. I own my own brokerage. I have 2 sons from my first marriage. Both graduated from Westerville North and Indiana University. I remarried in 2009 and my wife Linda has 2 daughters. We have 4 grandsons.
