Jennie's Story
Life
Life is somewhat challenging right now. I have just entered into University of La Verne to pursue my degree in English (a significant change considering I was in Biology). My best friend just moved to New Zeland and is getting married :)! Work is getting to be a bit overwhelming with all the reconstructio and my mother has been sick. I have managed to find some time to dig deep and pray and hope that all works out for the best. I keep my spirits up by reading a lot and interior design. It's fun, but I have a wonderful man at my side to help me through! I love you Kyo!
College
Citrus was good to me. I met incredible people and they encouraged me to do more. Dr. Salwak has pushed me further than any other teacher. He did not hold back and gave me and the class the instruction we needed--honestly and directly. I changed majors one last time to English. novels echo past thoughts in my own head. I enjoy it immensely and instead of just saving our environment, I plan to enlighten our children by being the best teacher around! And off to University of La Verne I go!
Workplace
Many challenges have occured at this workplace. I have been the General Manager for over 5 years now and I still feel like I have only just begun. One of my employees enlisted in the military. The management team and I were crushed to hear that he will be sent overseas. Not only did we see him grow up, but we helped raise him. Ben was there since he was 15 and now he is 18 and spreading his wings. It's hard to see him go, but I support him and promised him that we would write regularly. I may not have children of my own, but I have 28 kids at work whom I care for a great deal and only wish to see them fly. It may sound cliché, but when it happens to you, I bet that you'd feel the same way.
