Life
Hello to anyone reading this. Life has been quite a ride for me. I am presently living in Denmark and have been for the last 5 years. I am loving it. I recently got married to a man I met over here, and together we have a wonderful little boy, William.
Since I finished high school, I went to both Mount Royal College and the U of C. I graduated from MRC with a Diploma in Environmental Technology, which I haven't used a single day since. At the U of C, I decided to try a little engineering but quickly found out that physics was in no way my strong suit, and that in fact I hated it!
I worked at Safeway continuously throughout high school and also about 10 years after. I met some wonderful people there and gained some...Expand for more
good experience. I even tried out for manager, but found out that I was more inclined to be the worker bee than the Queen, even though I wanted to be Queen, heehee.
I have now finished my Bachelor of Nursing and in a couple of days I will be starting my first official job as a nurse. It should be very exciting. William will be starting in a day-home, and mommy will be out working to pay for that. The hospital is nice and close to our home, so there won't be so much commuting, something I am very grateful for. And in the Danish tradition, I will be riding my bike to work. Definately something I need to start doing....have some work to do after giving birth.
