Jennifer's Story
Life
I am a Dental Hygienist('94 graduate), and love the profession. After college graduation I married Travis Carver (from Missouri). We have a beautiful son - Hunter, born in Aug. 2000. I am currently on indefinite maternity leave, with the possibility of homeschooling. We still live in Corpus.
(UPDATE)
In Nov 2004, we were blessed with another baby boy, Reagan. Hunter is in Kindergarten, at a small private school (so much for homeschooling, but this school is the next best thing). I will continue to stay home until Reagan is in Kinder : ) I enjoy being with my family. We stay very active, something going on every night of the week; my husband is coaching Hunter's soccer team. He's a wild bug!

April 2008
My boys are now 3 & 7. My youngest is at home with me, and my 7 yr old is in 2nd grade, soon to be 3rd - he's typically the youngest in his class, but still does well...class clown?...we'll see. The boys are growing so fast! I've added some new photos of my family. ...Over the years, I've expanded my interest in anything vintage....clothing, jewelry, purses & shoes (it's great to incorporate vintage with today's fashion). I have discovered the thrill of the "hunt" - I enjoy estate sales, and traveling for my treasures! Since I have been home (not working) for 7 yrs, it seems that shopping has become a favorite "hobby" (?), lol. ...My music interests vary greatly; that's never changed. I just love music! All kinds. I enjoy spending time with my husband & boys. We ...Expand for more
enjoy boating, tennis, gardening, movies, games & even playing jokes on each other! ...Something I think others would find interesting? We haven't had cable in 13 yrs. We have chosen, as a Christian family, that the media is not a great source of learning, but more of a "lazy" (for lack of better words) entertainment (which I enjoy time to time - who doesn't). Call me old fashion (lol), but I personally find a lot of today's television programs offensive & corruptive. We still watch tv and have the local stations - which have more than enough for us to watch. As a family, we find things to do together. We're not weird, just conservative.
(Sept 2015 UPDATE)
Our boys are 10 & 15 and doing well in school. The oldest plays the trombone in his high school marching band & is in varsity tennis. He enjoys school & being with his friends. My youngest is in 5th grade and is an exotic car fanatic. We all have dreams. Both are involved in FFA/Livestock show. Goats & rabbits are their thing. My husband still works very hard so I can continue to live the domestic-goddess lifestyle. I am very much alive & well; breathing with all that life has to offer, in my own little world. I still have never dabbled with social media so to speakâ¦of which i see no purpose. I have all i need right here. I am enamored with nature & photography and all that God has blessed me with. I stay busy with our simple life. I love beautiful landscaping and i still require a lot of music to keep me going. Flowers make me happy.
