Jennifer's Story
Life
After high school, I attended several different colleges (4), in different states(3), and played softball at three of those schools. I took the long and winding road to graduation, working at UPS and coaching high school softball along the way. Eventually, I graduated from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas with a degree in Zoo Science and Biology. I worked at the Pueblo Zoo in Colorado following graduation, returning to Kansas a year later to my current position at Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita. I have wor...Expand for more
ked in many areas of the zoo, but primarily in the jungle. I take care of sloths, anteaters, bats, some small primates and a few other creatures. In addition to my primary job, I have worked as a Zamboni driver (FUN!!!) and as the equipment manager for our local (minor league) professional indoor football team. When I'm not busy with all of that, I try to spend time fixing my house, playing with my pets and visiting my family. I'd love to hear from old friends.
